Hi everyone,
we are looking for reliable shipper companies in Thailand, which we can contact in order to get some offers for shipping our 2 motorbikes to Japan by sea.
So far I got only one address from Wilhelmsen Ships Service, but they are very expensive (maybe shipping from Thailand to Japan is more expensive than from Europe to Australia or from Australia to Malaysia? But even the transport (Wilhelmsen) within Bangkok is more than 3 times expensive than the transport from Sydney CBD to the port, which is 70ks outside -Port Kemplar / Wollongong).
Any address or other ideas how to bring the motorbikes and personal effects (eg camping gear, helmet, motorbike gear, etc) to Japan are highly welcome.
Our plan is to be in Japan (southern part) next year mid March and taking a ferry from Japan beginning/mis May to Russia, if there is any running at the time of the year taking vehicles also.
By the way, we are a German couple on 2 Hondas, riding 1/2 the world.
