The R 1184 is a magical road. Great surface, no traffic as everyone is on the highway and lovely views. Then SW down R 1087 towards the Ping River.

Regrouping every 20km or so to make sure everyone was ok

Fuel ranges of bikes varied from 150km to 500km, so everyone was managing their own fill-ups

Waiting at the top of the hill for the others, a little confusing as to which floating restaurant it might be

Lots of fish farms on the Ping to the north. It's in the middle of the Mae Ping National Park with no trail or road access. This is the only way to the fish farms

A great day so far and back up R 3008 north home, even with a rain shower on the way

The water level probably doesn't drop much more there if as I guess its the northern end of the Bhumibol dam.

Its worth remembering to take your own food as most of these floating restaurants only sell fish
