The first thing I noticed as I walked to the bike this morning was the rear tyre was flat, I pushed to about 100 metres to a repair shop where this was found poking through the tyre
No chance of repairing that, I guess the tube ripped as he was pulling it out from the tyre, the nail wasnt easy to spot from the outside otherwise it would have been pulled out first

A mixture of new paved and unpaved was found
This baby buffalo was trying to get closer to me but was at the end of the rope
I walked over and this one enjoyed being stroked
I thought this was the end of the track
But it carried on over the bridge
Eventually reaching a paved road
This small waterway was popular with people fishing today, I rode past here again later and a girl was fishing there too

Chicken and cashew nuts with brown rice at Ratana's Kitchen on Thapae road 100 Baht.
A nice sized portion and lovely brown rice but sadly the main dish was in a watery gravy rather than the chilli paste it should be fried in and was rather bland tasting as a result, typical of most restaurants I try this in nowadays, they have all forgotten how to cook it properly.
SBK on the 3029 not far in from the canal road is the best I know
