On my first offroad track the leaves are being blown down as I ride along, the weather is on the change today

Dry dusty tracks
IMG_1714.JPG
The rubber tapper tells me this goes through to link up with another track, he was correct too
IMG_1715.JPG
Not expecting to see a lot of sunshine today, the forecast said rain by mid afternoon

The lady with the pink bike was chatty but a bit camera shy

This must be a dry reservoir area, not much water in this one

These tracks are mostly linking up and at times I have linked to where I was riding yesterday, this one also crosses over the Nam Sao river on a concrete bridge

Another track ends at the Nam Sao river with this walking bridge in place, I step on it and the bamboo pole is rotten and disintegrates.
As I have no desire to risk falling through the bridge I ride back
IMG_1727.JPG
Now at a completely dry reservoir

Standing on the bottom looking at the overflow
IMG_1729.JPG
A deep hole in the reservoir contains no water although the soil is still a bit moist
IMG_1730.JPG
One dead fish remains in the hole
IMG_1731.JPG

IMG_1732.JPG
Now for a bit of single track through the woods which links up to two double tracks

As I rode past this guy I thought I was riding into his garden but he beckoned me to keep going and although the track didnt look much it suddenly emerged onto a bigger one going in two directions
IMG_1738.JPG
I am surprised at the amount of tracks out here going off in all directions that dont show on the GPS map, weather permitting I will be out here again tomorrow
IMG_1739.JPG
At 2 pm and its raining now, I stop for a drink and can hear thunder, riding on these tracks in rain isnt a problem, no need to even slow down
IMG_1740.JPG
If my calculations are correct this track should lead me to a track that shows on the OSM map and joins a track I was on yesterday
IMG_1741.JPG
It did and I made the link up, its raining a lot harder now and I think its time to head home, the track I am on was rode yesterday and I know its a porous surface so no problems with getting stuck or sliding around
IMG_1742.JPG
As I join the 3131 the heavens open up

It was a very wet ride home but a very enjoyable days ride also
