Back in Mae Sariang and I recognise my riding buddy Christian in the river
The roadworks are continuing at a good pace and there is now only a 2.5 km section of the old potholed surface remaining. The rest of it has been ripped up and levelled flat, even unpaved its a much smoother ride.
Hopefully at the end of the year this road will be virtually upgraded all the way
We all leave at the same time
A fast flowing current and not what I would want to be in
From a distance it looks like it could be walked across but up close no thanks
More people arrive
I stop at the same lunch stop as before, nobody fishing here today but some people were in the water
Burma over the Moei river
Those are the steps leading up to it which was as far as I went
Just before the turning for the Mae Usu cave I spot this on the hill so try to find it
Then it became clear
I was wondering why he seemed a bit nervous on the bridge
A beauty spot is being made here by the look of it
Every time I move between these two towns it seems a weather change happens, this morning as I was heading north out of Mae Sot it was cold and very windy and blowing me all over the road.
As I got into the hillier parts it wasn't so bad but still too cool for my liking
