I knew it had rained heavily in Mae Sam Laep so headed east where the tracks are quicker drying but not so much rain had fallen out here anyway

A guy I was chatting to in town asked me why I was so dressed up, he was planning on riding back to Chiang Mai in a t shirt.
If he got more than a few km east of town without freezing his nuts off I will be very surprised as once up high it was very cold
