A new road suitable for trucks is found today that linked up with Fridays find otherwise linking the 1270 up would only be possible by motorbikes
One water crossing and the stream bed is the track for a few metres
Mid afternoon and it gets a bit gloomy
This steep slippery wet track was a pain to ride up
I set off on the track to take me across to the 1270 but it is now blocked off and cabbages are growing
Beans are being harvested everywhere now
Right at the top looking down, now to explore some turn offs I spotted on friday
Because back then I was pointed to ride up there, a steep narrow single track takes me to join the wider track further up
I am riding in the direction of where I had to turn back a couple of years ago and here was the turn back point
He gives up and pushes it
These tracks were all bone dry on Friday but some were a bit slippery today
Out in the sun on the tracks and it soon warms up
Not really how I expect to have to dress up to stay warm
Its a bit sunnier this morning but still very cold first thing
