Penang chicken curry and rice at Sawaddee 100 Baht

I was surprised by the girls English language skills out here in the wilds

A roadside waterfall

Most of todays wooden bridges look past their best but still do their job

Ban Mae Na Chang according to this guy

My favourite photo of the day for two reasons.
1 its a lovely scenic shot and 2 I can see a village ahead and the road out, plus my GPS says 2 km and I am on a track to get home

But the main track carries on

A side track soon comes to a dead end

Lovely views from up here

A village up ahead

With a great view

A quiet lunch spot

I head north for a while then take a track heading east, a few water crossings along here but all on wooden bridges

Eating that plant is the pigs main interest

In the last new village I found yesterday and I see people there today.
These told me its called Ban Pong Nam Ron

I walk for 2-300 metres then ride back, possibly a few people with a machete might get further but not solo

I ride on for a while then stop here

Here I am told the road is broken ahead and I cannot get through

Before crossing the suspension bridge I take a track heading east which I am hopeful will link up with a track running north to south

I guess in storms its quite a current

A stream crossing that's nearly dry now but would be interesting in the rainy season

Taking the new track I found yesterday and riding it in reverse I try a side tack which goes a reasonable way then ends here
