A double pork cheeseburger and fries at Corsica 119 Baht, it was tasty and great value

The bridge has seen better days
Fortunately a long bamboo had been nailed to a tree as a handrail and holding this I went down but I wouldn't have tried it otherwise
That was one steep descent
Back near to Mae La Luang I try to find the elusive weir but I have to walk to reach it

Plenty of time to explore a few side tracks on the ride home
To my surprise at this junction I was on a track I had mapped a few years ago on the KLX 250
I rode over the suspension bridge and carried on expecting it to only go for a while to get the crops in
Here I was fully expecting to have to turn around and ride back
I reach the fifth village and this is my welcoming party, no one is around only goats
Once out of the village its just unpaved from now on
Pha Daeng Luang in front of me
After this village the track was a mixture of paved and unpaved
Another new church in the second village of Mai Um Phai Tai
In Mae Tor the first new village, I didn't stop to ride around on the way down as I was fully expecting to be riding back later in the day
Which is also a very twisty fun road
Now along the 4009
North of Mae La Luang and the 108 gets very twisty
