I was wondering why no one was using this short stretch of road which was once the main road, it is wide where its replacement joins it but quickly gets overgrown
In places it was virtually completely overgrown and I was expecting to find a collapse but I managed to ride the entire length to join up again. I am puzzled why it was left to decay as the new bit is just a narrower concrete road
Now its time to ride back to the village where I found the track over the mountain yesterday
Sadly this village doesnt seem interested in the recycling bit and its an unpleasant odour riding past that
In the village and a smiling happy bunch here
The school but it looks deserted today
A harmless Sunbeam snake lies dead on the track
I ride around the village
Now back out from the village and heading north
I see a lot of tea pickers today
Now to explore a couple of offroad tracks
Lots of coffee growing up here
Is it an old Yamaha DT 175 with a Lifan engine in it I wonder. The instrument console was from a Yamaha
Every track I ride has a bike come along

Finally a snake that is still alive
Although it doesnt seem to want to move
Its a harmless Assamese Mountain Snake
Finally it slowly slithers off the road
Even once on the grass there was no desire to move away from me
Monday special at Gecko Garden, smoked chicken baguette with fries and salad 119 Baht
