Chicken massaman curry and rice at North West GH 80 Baht

Tracks galore out here

But upon riding down the hill I decided the river was the safer option

I rode through the river to explore the track for a while with the intention of riding back over the suspension bridge

Now in Ban Pa Wai Tai

Plenty of bulldust from different colours today

This happy bunch are in Pa Wai

In Fuk Tong and the first new village of the day

A bit unpleasant for a way until the surface improved

It makes a pleasant loop to a track I found four days ago

I take another unmapped track which nicely joins up with some mapped tracks

Once through the gate it was a horrible rutted track and I was glad when it finished

Then becomes a bit overgrown

It starts off quite scenic

North of the church and I take an unmapped track that runs parallel with the paved road

In Mae Hae and a lot more concrete has been poured between here and the big church since I last rode here four days ago

Where the new asphalt surface ends a few km north of the Huai Hom turning the bank is being dug away, the surface here is already paved under that dust so perhaps its only being paved to the next village
