I have heard good reports about this place

A new restaurant for me tonight at N18.16539 E097.93217

Along the 105 and someone has crashed a truck recently, there are lots of broken bottles lying about

Another track takes me to the Mae Ngao but there is no way to cross over so its a ride back

The track forks three ways, I take the one that looks the least used but it goes through to the 105 and I could not find a way to get to the others from the 105 so perhaps they were the dead ends

Surprised there is not a sign on the 105 directing people to the waterfall
IMG_7809.jpg

IMG_7808.jpg
Deep water there
IMG_7807.jpg
The track forks again and one is a dead end but with a series of waterfalls in the stream
IMG_7806.jpg

IMG_7804.jpg
Double track so this has to go to the 105
IMG_7803.jpg
The two of us got the bike through

Here I thought it was the end of the track but he motioned for me to ride on

The track branched off and when it turned to this single track I wondered whether to ride on or not as it looked like only crop access, thankfully I rode on

I can see the 105 in the distance

It was a twisty track and quite bumpy in places but with great scenery

The further it went the more sign of use and as soon as I saw 4WD tracks I knew it had to go through to the 105

This track heading north looked like a crop access track but I decided to follow it
IMG_7761.jpg

IMG_7760.jpg
There was a small village across the river but what most intrigued me was the fact the track was double track even if there was not much sign of usage
IMG_7759.jpg

IMG_7758.jpg
The view of downstream and upstream
IMG_7757.jpg

IMG_7756.jpg
Todays plan was to ride further into the NP and take a left to find some unmapped villages but I spotted this bridge going over the Mae Ngao and decided to see what was on the other side

IMG_7753.jpg
Inside the Mae Ngao NP and a large pig is about to be cut up
IMG_7751.jpg
After a three day break of just lazing around and taking a two hour massage each day its time to get exploring again
