Totally dry dusty tracks now, its not a problem on this type of surface as its not bulldust

That single/walking track goes nowhere and I skip it

The stench from that disgusting fruit is overpowering even from where I am stopped
IMG_3545.JPG
I wonder what this is like out on these dirt tracks

Back on a nice piece of asphalt for a while

Never far from an irrigation duct

Riding over the weir on the Huay Mae Lamao
IMG_3551.JPG
I guess this was the original overflow and was only passable in the dry season, the river is as high as it can get now and no water can get to this older weir

As I am sitting in a shelter having my lunch I see a bike going up that steep loose stone hill I have just rode down
IMG_3557.JPG

IMG_3558.JPG
I watch the bike come back down very slowly

I ride to where I had a good adventure on the KLX 250 6 or 7 years ago when I rode through there and over the mountains, I remember getting wet feet on a cold morning back then

IMG_3574.JPG
Back from the river about 200 metres I saw a track going up alongside the one I took so I check it out and it runs parallel to the river
IMG_3575.JPG

IMG_3576.JPG

IMG_3578.JPG
I can hear a revving engine and through the trees can see a lorry stuck in the river
IMG_3580.JPG

IMG_3581.JPG
I watched for a few minutes but no forward movement of the stuck lorry was achieved
IMG_3582.JPG
There is a bridge here now which means the two water crossings are no longer necessary
IMG_3583.JPG

IMG_3584.JPG
A track runs north alongside the river and I follow it to the river crossing

IMG_3586.JPG

IMG_3587.JPG
A Honda Wave comes down
IMG_3588.JPG

IMG_3589.JPG
And just glides through the water, I leave this track for another day as time is getting on

Back in Mae Sot and a bit of a commotion roadside with a lot of squealing going on
IMG_3594.JPG

IMG_3595.JPG
I guess somehow the pig got out of the truck and is none too eager to be put back in
IMG_3596.JPG
The other one sits patiently waiting
IMG_3597.JPG
Finally porky is picked up and put squealing into the back of the truck
