The smoke/haze is slowly getting worse each day, hopefully it wont be as bad as Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai are experiencing

Looking at yesterdays track on GE last night showed the possibility of this single track linking up with a dead end

At the top I find another Honda Wave

Looking back at what I just rode up

Now to ride down the other side

Linked up with what I thought was a dead end from yesterday

This track came off what I was riding yesterday but I didnt have enough time to explore it

Its pretty bleak and devoid of people out here

A truck suddenly drives past creating a nice dust cloud

About to link up with a track I mapped before

I cant believe it, the same truch has turned around and got me again

Now to go and search for that white chedi on the top of the hill I see most days

This track was being used last time I rode here three or four years ago

Even the old main track that would be the 4029 if they paved it further north has now become damaged and only used by bikes

This was a well used track before and one I have rode many times

Finally here its back to a decent track again

With its water crossing

All the old Pha Daeng mining complex has gone now and this looks an interesting place to visit sometime, today I am only interested in finding that Chedi

Now a nice new asphalt road goes up to it

This was here on my last trip up here when it was still a dirt track and before the Chedi was built

In the middle of the photo was another older mine that has been landscaped and planted with trees, its now nice and green

To the right of it no greenery now

Old disused tracks from when the mine was operating

I was up here I think three years ago but no Chedi back then

The last mine that was being filled in and landscaped on my last trip up here

Its usually lovely views from up here but sadly not so today

Writing on the Chedi

Inside the Chedi and its nice and cool in here

On the ride home I look in at the Waste To Energy plant that wasnt operational on that trip

Its working okay now
