Looking hazy into the hills and the smoke soesnt help

I mapped this track some years back and ride it again to see if it links to new stuff that I can see

I thought that looked like a reservoir on another track

A bit further on and this reservoir was only made last year

I am now parked on top of whet looked like a reservoir, no water here though

According to the Garmin GPS map this track links up, sadly it doesnt anymore as the track is completely destroyed

Maybe someone lives up here

There is no one in but the door is open

All is needed is electricity then its liveable in

Just past it is this and I am wondering if something is going to be erected up here

This track leads down to the back of the one year old reservoir I found earlier

I am going to see how far the Wave will get me up that hill

It got me up a lot further than I thought possible, I cant believe how well it goes up steep hills considering its running on standard gearing.
The clutch can be slipped by slightly depressing the gear lever but that is not something I wish to start doing as everything has its breaking point and I have no desire to burn the clutch plates out in the hills

I was wondering what this was all about

Close to the Mae Ka Sa Waterfall is this new coffee place at N16.85916 E098.62830

A lovely view from up here

Its not just a coffee shop there is a decent menu too including the shabu/ mukata option

That wheelbarrow reminds of a 1970s building site, the pushbike looks even older

Accommodation here too

I like the toilet block

A western toilet and shower inside

To my utter shock the Mae Ka Sa Waterfall has been developed into something really nice.
Whenever I visited here over the years I seldom ever saw anyone else here and quite often there was no water either

I couldnt be bothered to climb up any further to see if water is being pumped up to ensure a year round waterfall

Another coffee shop is next to the waterfall and this lake is in the grounds

A much bigger lake is here as well, this explains why I have seen so much traffic turning up here over the last few days of riding here

Beef Handi and rice at Bismillah 320 Baht, this was a large portion of beef and with the rice was as much as I could manage, it was delicious too
