It rained yesterday afternoon and evening so I decided to take the MSX out knowing the roads in the shade would still be wet and possibly a bit slippery too

I went offroad hoping this shortcut would take me to the paved surface but it didn't work out so it was an about turn

Its quite high altitude here and not very warm in the late morning

Mid afternoon and now the roads are dry and its a warm pleasant temperature at last

I ride under what I assumed was an old unused railway bridge and climb up the bank but the dirt track is not straight enough for it to have been a former railway line

This old mill has been converted into houses now

Back home and I slowcook a Guinness pulled pork

With new potatoes, home made sage and onion stuffing, onions and cabbage

Plus the lovely gravy made from what was left of the Guinness stock
