With lots of ice cream

Mukata 149 Baht

Looking back through the trees.
I wasn't paying attention to my gps on the ride back and after a while I suddenly looked down at it to see I was heading west on an unmapped track instead of north to go back the way I came.
As it appeared to be a well used track and would eventually link up if it went far enough I carried on, a good decision as it linked up with the track to Pha Daeng creating a new loop

The end of the track, this is a wide river in the wet season

More pigs here then people

Ancient house with solar power

Then I ride through the Nam Mae Rit to reach the settlement, it was slightly deeper then it looked and in the wet season this settlement must be cut off

A water crossing that runs into the Nam Mae Rit

There were only 4WD tracks on this track and it was a bit of a struggle to get back up on the KLX

A side track I take gets too steep to ride down

I can see buildings through the trees

I ride back to Dong Luang and take another track

The locals I walked down with are busy

At this point I am 7.28 km upstream of the secret bridge

Low water now

I decide to follow some locals and walk it, it was not the easiest of hikes

I ride to the end of the track and its only about 250 metres to the Nam Mae Rit

Further east of the village and its lots of cabbages

Broom country again today

A new building going up in Dong Luang

Looking down on Dong Noi

In Dong Noi and the red flower trees are in abundance again

Tomatoes near to Dong Noi

Rather him then me up in the top of the tree shaking the branches

In Huay Pla Kang its harvesting the tamarind tree time

A sunny start
