1264 to 1087

I rode the 1264 in a north west direction from the 1102 a few years ago but the asphalt only went so far then stopped. I asked if it was possible to ride through to join the 1087 but was told no, I didnt bother trying then but perhaps its possible, its a road I want to try again sometime now that I have a GPS then I will know how much offroad there is

Hi Nightrider

Colin & I have been to that park (west to east) several times and it has been unnecessary for us to buy a ticket on later occasions. One discussion with the dear folks at the kiosk was about the passing through (not stopping at the waterfall etc) being a good enough resaon not to charge ;)

But then again, when you have the charm of Colin & I, it's hard to resist !!

Great to know that the route goes through as per your track. Thanks for sharing that.

Colin... March ?

The track is pretty easy, I drove on SM wheels with no issues. In the rainy season it may be more of a challenge. There are other tracks connecting that may be worth "exploring".

There was also what seemed to be a new dam that has drowned part of 1264. New road around it is being built and was drivable but not paved yet. On the map below is the new road that runs around the rim of the new dam in a funky loop.

I wonder if its a new dam or the fact that the Bhumibol dam is at capacity that has drowned the road as this has happened at other places where the road is submerged from the Bhumibol dam being full

Possible, I did not see any actual dam.
