It was fine in town and not a bad forecast
A few km east of town and at 750 metres high there is some low cloud.
by the time I reach the Mae Ho checkpoint its raining slightly and the roads were soaked for quite a way
It has certainly rained out where I am going off road and I think it was a wise decision to give it a miss for the last two days
All the crops have been given a good watering from the rain
Brown muddy water in the streams
In places it was slippery and a couple of hills were a bit of a problem but mostly a sandy quick draining surface out here
After slowly brightening up the sky rapidly darkened around midday and it rained slightly
Finally some blue sky in the afternoon
Now its warming up and looking a lot brighter
I wonder if this tree will be fallen over when I ride past tomorrow
Just past it one already over from burning
On to the smoothly paved surface of a road with no number
A whole small stuffed chicken with potatoes, onions, capsicums and garlic bread at Corsica 164 Baht
