No nails or anything in the tyre so perhaps it was the potholes that caused it, I was running 36 psi in the rear so low pressure wasn't to blame.
130 Baht and a new tube and I am on my way

After a few really rough potholes my rear tyre deflates rather quickly, I soon find a repair shop but the guy who fixes has gone to Mae Sariang and they don't know how long he will be.
I ride on for another 15 km until I reach Sop Moei

I reach the roadworks then its a couple of badly potholed sections

Just past this happy lot I link up with an already mapped track so its turn around time, I don't want to wreck my laptop with too much offroad

I see a village marked on the map without the track to get to it so its explore time, usually I am too fully laden for offroad exploring when moving between towns but as it was only a short trip I left lots of stuff in Mae Sariang

A quick two night stay in Mae Sot for a visa run now its back to Mae Sariang

Is there a reason why you run such a high psi Colin? My bike's manual recommends 22psi in the rear, I wouldn't have thought yours was much different? Does it offer any benefits?

Tire Pressure on the Road according to the spec that stand on the Tire .
I run mine at the moment on 37 psi .
Check your tires Craig it stand somewhere on the side , i guess your's are around 33psi.

The manual says 22 front and rear but if the load is over 85 kg then it says put 33 in the rear
