A friend took me out to, for me, a 'first time' restaurant in the Chiang Mai foothills today.
Phufinn Doi is one of three 'Phufinn' venues, the other two being 'Phufinn in (sic) the Lake' and 'Phufinn Terrace'.
It was excellent and if you haven't yet been there I think you will enjoy.
It has views over the city and beyond, is cooled by mountain breezes, has jazz playing in the background, good service
and a varied menu.
It is situated near the 'Grand Canyon' off #3035.
The final couple of hundred metres can be a bit rough on a bike but no major issue.
This one closes at 6pm and that would be a good time to be there.

It always bewilders me how so many people go to such venues then spend the majority of their time there on the mobiles.
Oh well 'up to them' I guess.
So that was a major calorie hit but I can walk it off tomorrow.
One of the many pleasures living in this area is the countless number of places like this.
Love it.
