Giant Loop Coyote Saddle Bag

Received my Giant Loop Coyote Saddle Bag today. Wow its bigger than I thought. Very practical though. Only stuffed it with pillows and covers just to give it some shape and to give it a quick test on the bike for fitment. It slips over both bikes quite easily and forms a hugging shape around the seat and side panels, even on the WR with the rack fitted. It will no doubt fit better once I draw it into position with the straps.
The forward position I have it mounted on the WR was to test and see if I could retain the rack and keep the weight central on the bike hopefully retaining some of the handling and not loading up the rear suspension too much. I tried sitting on the bike with it in this position and it felt very comfortable behind me, like falling into an arm chair. Ill probably move it rearwards a few inches just to give me more room, but as you can see it still gives me just about full use of the rack if need be.

Much bigger than i thought they were too! Quality is supposed to be outstanding.

I've been using the Wolfman Beta bag which is also a kind of "n" shape (this is the best photo i have of it on a small bike i own (DRZ 400))

The Wolfman Beta bag is a medium weight cordura fabric, so its best to put gear you want to keep dry in light weight Sea to Sumit roll-top dry bags inside as its "water resistant" not waterproof like the Giant Loop bag. Trade off with the Giant Loop bag is its weight, but its a great product.

The giant loop also serves as an awesome frame slider, however not as durable or cost effective!

It is indeed a nice bag. I bought one (mail ordered from GiantLoop) in 2009. The same Coyote, but black in color. Really tough and the best thing is its waterproofed, and you kinda don't really feel its there. I used the bag on my frequent camping trips, on my KLX 250H, stuffing it with some spare clothes, stove and cooksets, RMEs, Hennessy Hammock and other camping gears. Its simply great. Very useful for dirtbikes.
